Nicholas Tranakas, M.D., F.A.C.S.
General Surgery/Surgical Oncology

“Cancer is not to be feared any longer.”

For the first time, for all forms of cancer combined, incidents and deaths are declining, according to the National Cancer Institute. Cancer has been turned into “a chronically-managed disease,” says Dr. Tranakas. He and the rest of our award-winning oncology team work to control cancer with advanced science, as well as “the humanistic approach of what’s best for that particular patient.”

And as Dr. Tranakas says, “Cancer is not to be feared any longer. It can run, but it cannot hide.”
