Dr. Mark Shachner, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Board Certified General Surgical Specialist who is President of South Florida Surgical Specialists. Dr. Shachner is immediate past Chief of Staff at Coral Springs Medical Center and current Medical Director of the Women’s Diagnostic and Wellness Center at CSMC. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Yale Medical School. His surgical residency was at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Shachner specializes in the treatment of breast disease and minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of cancer. His practice also includes the surgical treatment of thyroid disease and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Shachner is an avid runner who lives in Coral Springs with his wife Robin and sons Jason and Matthew.
