Rudolph Roskos, M.D.
Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

“There’s nothing more rewarding than to know you can save the life of a child.”

“I don’t know anything more devastating than to tell a mom and dad, ‘Your child has cancer,’” says Dr. Rudolf Roskos, a leading authority on children’s cancer. “They think, ‘My child is going to die.’” The good news is that survival rates are increasing dramatically.

Fortunately, today, Dr. Roskos can also tell parents there’s hope. Especially when it comes to childhood leukemia. “Most childhood cancers have very good therapies and a child has an excellent chance of being cured.”
