Roman A. Gastesi is certified by the Board of Internal Medicine and the Board of Medical Oncology. Dr. Gastesi is the Chairman of both the Tumor Committee and the Tumor Board at Broward General Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and he sits on the Board of Directors, Regional Chapter, for the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Gastesi is an active member of several organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the National Cancer Institute and the Southwest Oncology Group. Dr. Gastesi is also a published writer with several articles to his credit.
